Early Childhood Special Educator

Tell us a little about your approach to early intervention:

I believe that partnering with parents is the key to a child’s success. I help parents identify their child’s strengths and weaknesses and show them how to build on their child’s interests. Children are more willing to try out challenging activities when they are combined with their interests. Learning should be fun and developmentally appropriate. Learning how to play well and appropriately sets the foundation for preschool and future academic settings.

What qualifications and trainings do you have?

  • B.A. in Sociology, UW
