Early Intervention Special Educator

Tell us a little about your approach to early intervention:

My approach to early intervention is to support families by focusing on the strengths and unique skill set that each parent brings to the picture. I believe that children thrive in an environment where caregivers feel confident in the fact that they are their child’s first and most important teacher, and that the parent-child relationship is essential to the overall well being of the child. My priority is that parents feel empowered to advocate for their children and support them in their developmental journey through the early years.

What qualifications and trainings do you have?

  • Bachelor of Arts in Education
  • Washington State Teaching Certification

Are there areas of practice that you specialize in?

I specialize in working with children aged birth to three years old who have been identified as having a developmental delay. I work with children and families in a natural environment, such as the child’s home, to support children in reaching developmental milestones and promote positive parenting practices.
