Tell us a little bit about your approach to counseling:
The most effective treatment happens when there is a trusting relationship between the client and therapist. Once we’ve established a positive relationship, we will set goals together for treatment. Because I believe that very often issues clients face involve relationships with other people, there are times when it is appropriate for clients to invite others into counseling; family members or trusted friends. Everyone has struggles throughout life and it is my hope that through counseling, the client will develop perspectives and skills that make mastering challenges easier.
